Harsh Chhaya, who makes his directorial debut with family entertainer ‘Khajoor
Pe Atke’, also made his debut as a singer with a song in the film and the
number was released today.
Titled
‘Dhoka’, the song features Manoj Pahwa’s character as he realizes that he has
been betrayed by someone close to him. The song then goes on to show a
distraught Pahwa having a series of accidents as he spends the day ruing his
fate. The tragi-comedy song has been penned and sung by Harsh Chhaya himself
and composed by Bickram Ghosh. Boasting of an ensemble cast comprising Manoj
Pahwa, Vinay Pathak, Seema Pahwa, Dolly Ahluwalia, Sanah Kapoor, Suneeta
Sengupta, Prathmesh Parab and others, ‘Khajoor Pe Atke’ is a family entertainer
about how various members of a family react on getting to know about a family
member’s imminent death.
