Rasika dons 11 looks for her next?

Currently in buzz for her role as Safia Manto in Nandita Das' biographical drama with Nawazuddin Siddique based on the life of Sadat Hassan Manto, Rasika will now don not just one unique but 11 different looks for her next. While she comes from theatre background and is well versed with donning more than one character at a time, Rasika has now collaborated with a digital content firm, Culture Machine for a video in which she will be essaying 11 different characters. The video is conceptualised on the life of an actor in a week between Monday and Sunday and the different kind of people an actor meets. Rasika plays each of these characters and has a unique look for each of them. Previously on screen, we have seen actors like Kamal Hassan and Priyanka Chopra do the same on screen and now Rasika adds her name to the list. We can't wait to see what more is coming up from her.
Rasika says, “As actors we work with different people all the time. One of the things I have found most challenging about my job is to quickly adapt to the idiosyncrasies of everyone I work with. This video is a funny take on some of those interactions. God knows I needed to laugh about some of them! Also, I have been waiting to experiment with comedy on screen and it was super fun to do so vibrant team at culture machine. And how often does one get to play eleven different characters in one day! It was a treat for me!”

Bollywood stars back again for the biggest Ramleela of the year

Finally the preparation of Delhi's biggest Luv Kush Ramleela for this year has given a head start, with the graceful presence of b’town stars Manoj Tiwari, Anup Jalota and Shankar Sahni.
In a Press Conference held in Delhi, President of Luv Kush Ramleela, Ashok Agrarwal revealed that this year the Ramleela play will be bigger than ever as most of the prominent personalities from the Bollywood industry will turn up on the stage in different characters, he said, “finally the preparation of Ramleela is started for this year. And I am sure it will take place in a big manner. We are going to release the entire information of LuvKush Ramleela on our official website. And in comparison with last year, Ramleela is going to be showcased with more enthusiasm. Well, I am heartily thankful to the entire team of LuvKush Ramleela for making it possible on such a huge way.”
As per the characters revealed, Manoj Tiwari will portray the role of Angad, Anup Jalota will be Kevat, Shankar Sahni Raja Dashrath. Manoj Tiwari felt energetic for Ramleela, he said, “firstly, a abig thanks to Ashok Aggarwal, the Bhajan Samrat Anup Jalota ji, my brother Shankar Sahni and the entire team of LuvKush Ramleela committee. Through this Ramleela we will take Lord Ram in each and every house. As per actor and politician, I will make sure Ramleela will be highlighted in a huge platform not only in Delhi but everywhere. As i feel deep connection with Ramleela, I am blessed that I get such a precious role.
On the other hand Anup Jalota mesmerised everyone by singing bit lines from Ramleela and shared his joyful thoughts for being the part of Ramleela this year, he said, “I feel blessed that LuvKush Ramleela Committee gave me chance to play as Kevat. I am expecting God and people’s love and support, through which I can give good performance for the same.”

The 40 year old Luv Kush Ramleela will be showcased from 21st September till 1st October, 2017.


Spiritual leader turned actor Dr. Gurmeet  Ram Rahim is ready to grace the big screen once again. 
After storming the Bollywood with back to back 4 blockbuster movies, Dr. Gurmeet Ram Rahim aka Dr MSG is all set to storm the box office again with his upcoming flick Jattu Engineer. It seems Dr Ram Rahim wants to leave no stone unturned, while his earlier movies were action-packed ‘Jattu Engineer’ will be a comedy movie. 
Recently, the Rockstar Baba promoted his film with a concert at the Dera Sacha Sauda headquarters in Sirsa city in Haryana. 
"I agree the film is full of comedy, while talking about the message in the film we tried to showcase that if every village wishes they can be independent and strong. They can also contribute to the development of the country and help government" 
Jattu Engineer is a term used locally, where our local guy, who can fix almost everything by learning the art on his own. While addressing the media officials present, Dr. MSG Insan mentioned that Jattu Engineer is a comedy movie and its story revolves around a backward village. This village has schools, but those are without teachers. People residing in this village are very lazy and addicted to drugs. Saint Dr. MSG Insan will be seen in the lead role, of a Teacher reforming the village. 
"Well that's right I'll be seen in two characters one of a headmaster who is trying to get some change in a village where no one wants to come and another character is of a person who is one of a villager who is also working to get some change in the village with his unique ideas"
There will be glimpses of ‘Swachh Bharat Abhiyan’ initiated by our respected Prime Minister, Narender Modi. 

Apart from the comedy, movie will be having some social messages weaved in the fabric of entertainment just like Ram Rahim’s previous movies. There are two songs in the movie, one of them “Josh Mein” is a sports anthem to encourage and motivate youth to bring laurels for the nation in sports, rather than roaming high on the drugs.

Afrojack and David Guetta joined forces alongside vocalist Ester Dean for a new collaboration, called “Another Life”, which was released today. The Dutch DJ Afrojack teased fans on Twitter by unveiling the anime inspired artwork of the song.  Combined with the EDM star David Guetta, the song features singer songwriter Ester Dean, who has collaborated with the likes of Chris Brown and Snoop Dogg in the past.

Irrfan Khan shot with kids from Katputli colony (world’s largest community of street performers) for Hindi Medium’s Song Ek Jindari

The song also marks singing debut of Tanishka (Sachin’s daughter) 
Irrfan Khan starrer Hindi Medium has several impressive soundtracks and adding to the list is one more song- Ek Jindari. 
Ek Jindari, which is the climax song of the film, features Irrfan Khan was 50 kids from Katputli colony in Delhi. These kids are magicians, snake charmers, acrobats, singers, dancers, actors and musicians. They are also world’s largest community of street performers. 
Amongst these kids is a child prodigy drummer of India, Anshuman Nandi, who has won a National award at the age of 3. He will be seen playing drums in the song. 
The song has been composed by Sachin Jigar and marks the bollywood singing debut of Tanishka (Sachin's daughter). Well, it all happened when Irrfan heard her crooning to a stanza of the song and he was so mesmerized by the little champ that the composers decided to make her sing this beautiful song for Hindi Medium. The makers realising that she fits the perfect age group of the kids they were shooting with, flew her to Delhi to be a part of the song and sing it for the live audience. 
The song will be out tomorrow.

Hindi Medium is produced by Dinesh Vijan and Bhushan Kumar and is a T-series and Maddock films presentation.  Hindi Medium is a slice of life comedy based in the heartland of our country. The film is all set to release on 12th May 2017.

The response of the trailer and the episodes, coupled with the story and treatment of the show have garnered a massive online fan following.
This special episode which earlier wasn't supposed to be a part of the series, was shot and added at the last moment thanks to numerous requests from fans who have been hooked to the show.

यह ७ फरवरी १९६९ का शुक्रवार था।  निर्माता सुनील दत्त की ए सुब्बा राव निर्देशित फिल्म मन का मीत रिलीज़ हो रही थी।  सुनील दत्त ने मन का मीत अपने भाई सोम दत्त को नायक बनाने के लिए बनाई थी।  इस फिल्म से चार नए चेहरे- सोम दत्त के अलावा लीना चंद्रावरकर, संध्या और विनोद खन्ना का फिल्म डेब्यू हो रहा था।  सिनेमाघरों के बाहर दर्शकों की भीड़ जुटी थी तो इसलिए कि फिल्म के पोस्टरों में लीना चंद्रावरकर की उघड़ी छाती वाले पोस्टर आँखों को सुख दे रहे थे और वह इस अभिनेत्री का मीट यानि जिस्म देखना चाहते थे । इस एक्शन फिल्म में भी वास्तव में ऐसा ही कुछ था।  लीना चंद्रावरकर उदार अंग प्रदर्शन कर रही थी।  मगर, फिल्म जिस सोम दत्त के लिए बनी थी, वह बिलकुल फीके थे।  लीना के साथ उनकी जोड़ी मिसमैच हो रही थी।  संध्या भी फीकी थी।  बाद में, लीना चंद्रावरकर के उदार अंग प्रदर्शन के कारण फिल्म समीक्षकों के द्वारा यह फिल्म मैन का मीट घोषित की गई।  फिल्म में अपने अभिनय और व्यक्तित्व से दर्शकों का ध्यान आकर्षित किया फिल्म के विलेन प्राण की भूमिका करने वाले अभिनेता विनोद खन्ना ने ।  चॉकलेटी चेहरे और गड्ढे वाली ठोड़ी वाले बुलंद आवाज़ विनोद खन्ना में दर्शकों को हीरो मैटेरियल मिला।  अविभाजित भारत के पेशावर प्रान्त में ६ अक्टूबर १९४६ को जन्मे विनोद खन्ना के माता पिता विभाजन के बाद भारत आ गए।  विनोद खन्ना ने दिल्ली और बॉम्बे के बढ़िया स्कूलों में पढ़ाई की।  देवलाली नाशिक के बर्न्स स्कूल में पढ़ाई के दौरान विनोद खन्ना ने मुग़ल-ए- आज़म और सोलवा साल देखी और फिल्मों के दीवाने बन गए। सिडेन्हम कॉलेज मुंबई में कॉमर्स से ग्रेजुएट बने।  मन का मीत के दर्शकों को विनोद खन्ना में हीरो मटेरियल मिला। मगर  विनोद खन्ना को फिल्मकारों में बतौर रोमांटिक हीरो अपना विश्वास ज़माने में छह फिल्मों में सह भूमिकाएं करने पड़ी।  क्योंकि, उनकी पहली बतौर हीरो फिल्म नतीजा बुरी तरह से असफल हुई थी ।  इस फिल्म में विनोद खन्ना की नायिका बिंदु थी, जो बाद में बड़ी वैम्प बनी। विनोद खन्ना को बतौर रोमांटिक नायक  स्थापित किया निर्देशक शिव कुमार की फिल्म हम तुम और वह (१९७१) ने। इस फिल्म में विनोद खन्ना की नायिका भारती थी।  दक्षिण की स्टार भारती ने विनोद खन्ना के साथ पूरब और पश्चिम भी की थी। इस दौरान विनोद खन्ना ने सच्चा झूठा, मस्ताना, आन मिलो सजना, पूरब और पश्चिम, जाने अनजाने, ऐलान, रेशमा और शेरा, प्रीतम, रखवाला, हंगामा, मेरे अपने, मेरा गांव मेरा देश और मेम साब जैसी फिल्में में सह भूमिकाएं की।  इनमे ज़्यादातर अच्छे व्यक्ति वाली भूमिकाएं थी।  हम तुम और वह के बाद विनोद खन्ना का सितारा बुलंद हो गया।  एक समय वह उस समय के सुपर स्टार अमिताभ बच्चन के लिए इकलौती चुनौती थे।  उस समय, जबकि वह बॉलीवुड के सबसे टॉप के अभिनेता साबित हो रहे थे, विनोद खन्ना ने ओशो आश्रम जाने के लिए फिल्मों से संन्यास ले लिया।  पांच साल बाद उनकी वापसी हुई।  उन्होंने मल्टी स्टार कास्ट फिल्म ज़मीन (संजय दत्त,  रजनीकांत, माधुरी दीक्षित और श्रीदेवी के साथ) से सफल वापसी की।  इन्साफ और सत्यमेव जयते से उन्होंने खुद को सोलो हीरो साबित किया।  मगर उन्हें सितारा बहुल और एक्शन फ़िल्में ही ज़्यादा मिली।  उन्होंने १९९७ में अपने बेटे अक्षय खन्ना को हीरो बनाने के लिए फिल्म हिमालयपुत्र का निर्माण किया।  विनोद खन्ना ने लगभग १३७ फ़िल्में की,  जिनमे ५४ सोलो हीरो थी।  हीरो राजेश खन्ना वाली उनकी सच्चा झूठा, आन मिलो सजना, प्रेम कहानी, कुदरत और राजपूत सुपरहिट हुई।  उनकी अमिताभ बच्चन के साथ फिल्म परवरिश, ज़मीर, हेरा फेरी, खून पसीना, अमर अकबर अन्थोनी और मुकद्दर का सिकंदर सुपर हिट फ़िल्में थी।  उनकी मेरे अपने, गद्दार, अचानक, आरोप, कच्चे धागे, फरेबी, इम्तिहान, क़ैद, इंकार, इन्साफ, जुर्म, क्रांति, शक, मीरा, रिहाई, ९९, पहचान: द फेस ऑफ़ ट्रुथ, रेड अलर्ट : द वॉर वीथिन को दर्शकों के साथ साथ फिल्म समीक्षकों   ने भी सराहा। विनोद खन्ना ने तीन पीढ़ी की अभिनेत्रियों सायरा बानो, मुमताज़, योगिता बाली, रेखा हेमा मालिनी, शबाना आज़मी, नीतू सिंह, मीनाक्षी शेषाद्रि, पूनम ढिल्लों, करिश्मा कपूर और अमीषा पटेल के साथ अभिनय किया।  २०१५ में रिलीज़ शाहरुख़ खान के साथ फिल्म दिलवाले में वह चरित्र भूमिका में थे।  दबंग में सलमान खान और अरबाज़ खान के पिता की भूमिका में उन्हें काफी पसंद किया गया।  विनोद खन्ना ने दो शादिया की।  पहली पत्नी गीतांजलि से उन्हें अक्षय खन्ना और राहुल खन्ना तथा दूसरी पत्नी कविता से एक बेटा साक्षी और बेटी श्रद्धा का जन्म हुआ। वह दुनिया की बढियाँ कारों के शौक़ीन थे।  उनके गेराज में बीएमडब्ल्यू, मर्सेडीज़, पॉर्श और कैडिलक गाड़ियां खडी रहती थी।  १९९७ में वह भारतीय जनता पार्टी में शामिल हुए गुरदासपुर से सांसद बने।  २००२ में केंद्रीय कैबिनेट में शामिल किये गए।  २०१४ में वह फिर सांसद चुने गए।  कैंसर से जूझ रहे विनोद खन्ना की तस्वीरें देख कर उनके प्रशंसक चौंक पड़े थे।  इतना खूबसूरत व्यक्ति इस दशा को पहुँच गया है ! फ़िरोज़ खान और विनोद खन्ना समकालीन एक्टर थे। दोनों बेहद अच्छे दोस्त थे।  दोनों को ही कैंसर था।  दोनों की ही मृत्यु २७ अप्रैल को हुई।  श्रद्धांजलि विनोद खन्ना।

Pep Asia 2017 gave the photography community a platform worth a lifetime. 
The first ever prestigious Photography conference from 21st to the 23rd of April in Mumbai, completes on an overwhelming note filled with inspirations, passion, joy and tears creating history. 
The four day conference welcomed more than 300 aspirants and established photographers coming together from across countries to learn the art of photography from more than 30 international award winning photography masters of the world. The conference touched the marks of excellence going further beyond an experience into developing a stronger community of photographers committed to the cause of storytelling through photography and bound together by the name - PEP ASIA. From Pulitzer winner and veteran photographer Brian Smith to WPPI Grandmaster Jerry Ghionis to Fear Less Photographer Siva Haran to Indian gem Photographers Joseph Radhik, Auditya Venkatesh, Anup J Kat, Vishal Punjabi and many more, the conference brought the global masters on a single stage taking the aspirants through the Art Business & Craft (ABC) of Photography. 
The event had an array of interesting activities lined up, leaving the newbies in awe and established photographers with a chance to enhance their skill set. 
The journey began with a moving session by Jesh De Rox who taught the power of true emotion in making portraits followed by Pulitzer Prize winner Brian Smith’s and World’s top Wedding photographer Jerry Ghionis. While Brian recreated his Photographic moments, Jerry unveiled the style of capturing the perfect emotion in a picture. The first day also witnessed a special rapid Peecha Kuccha session by Joseph, Melissa (Jerry’s wife) and Auditya Venkatesh enlightening the audience with the intricacies of photography. The second day was led by the Business of photography with speakers like Entrepreneur Joshua Karthik (Founder of Stories by Joseph Radhik), Media Specialist Patrick Colpron, Canadian #South Asian Wedding Photographer Siva Haran and many more. 
Standing true to the motto of “Stronger Together”, the third day brought down photographers from different walks such as Indian Wedding photographers Vishal Punjabi from ‘The Wedding Filmer‘, Anup J Kat from ‘Sharks & Brides’, Adobe master Abhishek Mukherjee, ‘Stay Hungry Stay Foolish ‘Author Rashmi Bansal,'s international Photographer of the Year Mauricio Arias accentuating the significance of human emotions in a photograph and sharing their style and craft with the aspirants. The last day summed up the entire experience build at PEP ASIA with intensive workshops from the masters to help the aspirants hone their art at the hands of their heroes. 
The conference ended on an exciting note for the aspirants with a reveal of the PEP ASIA 2018 Calendar and the announcement of an association with Rang De (an NGO) with the PEP Community pledging to spread stories in the world of the under privileged through their photographs.

EEMA, India’s apex association of the events and experiential marketing industry announced a major tie-up with Turkey’s largest MICE operator, INVENTUM GLOBAL to open the doors to Antalya for the hosting of Indian outbound events, weddings and corporate meetings, incentives, conferences and exhibitions.

On the occasion, the Event and Entertainment Management Association (EEMA) announced the inaugural EEMA Global Leadership Retreat from May 28th till June 1st 2017 to be hosted in the picturesque environs of Antalya.

The program of the EEMA Global Leadership Retreat includes global and Indian speakers. The first set of the headline speakers has been announced:

Previously FAM visits, weddings and conferences have been hosted in Antalya. A special panel on the Indian opportunity was also hosted at the World Tourism Forum’s Mediterranean Summit in Antalya in December last year which EEMA participated in; this was conceptualized and moderated by INVENTUM GLOBAL as well.

Encompassing the Conceptualization, ideation, hospitality, logistics and execution, Wedniksha recreated a whole new world for Danube Wedding with extraordinary themes, décor, designs, activities and much more. More than 2 tons of Flowers flew from across the world to decorate the cruise for the wedding. From 1000 Special Tulips from Holland to 20,000 Red Roses to 1000 Hydrangea flowers from Ecuador- the ship looked no less than a living dream. Serving a cruise of more than 1000 guests, the ship hosted best of 75 chefs from India with an extravagant menu from delicacies across the world over the four days onboard. A traditional banana leaves lunch was also organized for the guests highlighting the ancient Indian culture adding an unimaginable experience for the wedding on a cruise. A 13 tired, 3.5 meter towering wedding cake for Adel and Sana was also designed for the white party by Italy’s top cake maker and Michelin-star Chef Fabio Cucchelli.  Keeping the celebrations going round the clock, the wedding hosted 5 different bars serving the best and the most expensive liquor across the globe.In addition, a team of 42 beauticians and hair specialists were flown for makeovers of the guests as per the themes along with a 6 people team for tying turbans for the baraat ceremony.
The brilliance of the wedding was also complimented by a glamorous guest list of B-Town divas and superstars like Shilpa Shetty Kundra, Shamita Shetty, Dia Mirza, Juhi Chawla, Sushmita Sen, Malaika Arora, Gauahar Khan, Hussain Kuwajerwala, Rohit Roy,Gurmeet and Debina and many more. Adding the desi tadka to the wedding were Rapper Badshah, Superhit Duo Vishal Shekhar and Meet Bros who kept the party rolling with their mind-blowing performances and songs. 
Adel and Sana too led the wedding into a whole new level of exhilarating festivity with their jaw dropping entries and stunning trousseau. While Sana charmed the guests in a spectacular skirt mapping show, Adel engaged the audience with his interactive LED dance. The Trousseau for the Bride and Groom was designed under the stylized guidance of Neeta Lulla who dressed the newlyweds as the prince and princess of the Danube Throne with some of the most charming outfits. Making the wedding a one of a kind experience, Wedniksha also put together an incredible Baraat for Adel over the decks with the first ever Water Rocket for the Baraat ceremony and Synchronized swimmers’ show for the Gala Night giving Adel an extravagant entry for the Baraat ceremony. Sana too stole the show on the Gala Night with her specially designed White Glowing Dress by Neeta Lulla. Encapsulating the entire four day extravaganza were wedding photographers Badal Raja Company who captured every moments, every emotions and every sentiment of the wedding to make the wedding a precious timeless experience for everyone.
